This piece is called "The War Camp". I designed it to symbolize a warrior going to war one night fixing his weapons over a camp fire. The fire pit is polished Apache Tears with burnt willow logs. There is a heat treated bow, two arrows, knife and a Danish Dagger - All miniature!

This talking stick was made from a 16-inch pine shaft was hand carved using stone cutting tools and then sealed with Krylon to bring out the natural beauty. Rabbit fur topping sealed with hide glue. One side has an Indian warrior on horseback wielding a spear (as shown below) painted and highlighted by a slight carving; on the other side is a fancy design. It also contains a leather grip attached with hide glue and black artificial sinew. Leather holds three small feathers and two strips holds 5 beads each.
