Thanks for taking a look at the Pics.
These pictures show
some of the steps that I go through to make a point. They don't
however include the use of a hammerstone where a larger stone is chipped
into useable pieces. Here I use a moose billet to flake the stone
and remove rounded and larger areas. Then a deer antler is used to
pressure flake it into a point.
For those of you familiar with Calgary, this is taken at
Weaselhead.
It is a beautiful secluded spot. When my hands become tired I love
to stop and watch some of the many types of birds, whether they are geese, ducks, mallards, loonies or simple sparrows. In
addition, several muskrats and beavers call this creek their home.
